What are Invisible Bead Extensions (IBE)?
Invisible Bead Extensions (IBE) are a sewn-in hair extension method (my personal favorite BTW!), used to create hair that looks natural, feels comfortable, and blends beautifully. The beads and stitching are placed so everything stays low-profile and easy to wear. The goal is natural looking hair.
What is the IBE method?
IBE is a specific, trademarked technique that’s all about clean sectioning, balanced tension, and safely applied hair. However, this doesn't mean I use a one-size-fits-all approach — every install is designed around your hair, head shape, and goals.
Will Invisible Bead Extensions hurt or feel uncomfortable?
This is probably the #1 question I get — and totally understandable. When installed correctly, most clients tell me IBE feels surprisingly comfortable and lightweight. Thoughtful sectioning and bead placement make all the difference. If your hair extensions hurt (with any method), that isn't good!
Will my extensions look obvious?
Not the goal — ever. I take time with color matching, placement, and blending so your extensions look like your hair… just with a little extra fullness or length.
How long do Invisible Bead Extensions last?
With proper care, the extension hair itself will last 8-12 months on average. Most clients come in for maintenance (move up) every 6–10 weeks, depending on growth and lifestyle.
Do I need a consultation first?
Yes —but I will do this digitally! Just fill out my new client form so I can get back to you via text to discuss:
