Have you started taking weight loss medication recently? (Ozempic/ Tirzepatide/ Mounjaro etc.) Pay attention to your hair. As with any rapid weight loss, your hair will take a hit. People who lose weight quickly using weight loss injections (GLP-1s), will experience more shedding than usual. This is similar to when someone undergoes weight loss surgery and suffers thinning hair. So, what does this mean?
